Where do I send my Application Form (RSVP)?
Submit forms to: Fax: 202-833-4370:     E-MAIL : sevans@jtbusa.com

How many people need to be signed up to make this tour happen?
To make the tour successful we need 12 or more people registered.

I was wondering about purchasing my flight in January; will the price still be $945 or will it increase as it gets closer to the date?
The basic price of the tour will stay the same until January 31, 2011. If we are able to accept more attendees after this date the price of the tour may rise slightly.  But keep in mind it is important to RSVP by January 31, 2011 and always best to reserve tickets as early as possible to guarantee a lower price and to make sure seats are still available.

It says $945 + Air, how much does air travel cost?
Travel costs will depend on where you depart from and also when you choose to purchase tickets. Since JTB is the prime travel agency putting on the tour we recommend going through them for Air to make sure everything corresponds with the tour. JTB is one of Japan’s largest travel agency and known for offering some of the best deals around and we can vouch for the DC office’s top customer service.

Is the tour available to people outside of the USA, and if so, will the cost of the tour increase?
Anyone from any part of the world may join the tour. The only change in fees would be airfare from your departure location.

What hotel would we be staying in?
Sunshine City Prince Hotel in Ikebukuro Tokyo, Japan
Sunshine City Prince Hotel stands at the heart of Sunshine City, a modern business, shopping and entertainment complex that includes the 60-story Sunshine 60 building, world import mart, The Culture Hall that holds a theater and museum, the International Aquarium, a planetarium and the Alpha Shopping Center.
Sunshine City Prince Hotel is newly renovated and includes spacious well furnished guest rooms, 7 restaurants presenting Japanese, Chinese, French, and other cuisine, and other attractions. The Sunshine stands thirty-eight stories above ground in the middle of Sunshine City in active Ikebukuro, Tokyo and offers a breathtaking view of Tokyo. As a First –class international city hotel, The Sunshine City Prince Hotel guarantees comfort, Functionality and genuine hospitality.

Are the rooms single or double occupancy (Will we have to room with someone)?
In order to keep the cost of the tour package low while including awesome activities, rooms are reserved automatically at double occupancy. We suggest bringing a friend if you are uncomfortable sharing a room with a stranger and state that person’s name on the sign up form. If you wish to be in a room by yourself you can request to reserve a single room on the sign up form at an extra cost.

Will the tour be an annual event?
We would love it to be but because the success of each tour depends on the number of people signed up we can only concentrate on one tour at a time. And though we are hearing that this tour is seeing some of JTB’s best responses lots of time and resources go into these tours on both sides of the world, so we will still have to wait till the success of this tour to decide what will happen in the future.

Is there a limit to the amount of people that can come on the tour?
Any amount of people can sign up for the tour but there is a possibility that seats may not be available on the flight therefore it is best to sign up and get your tickets early. On the other side it is important to reach a certain amount of people or the tour will not get off the ground.

Are meals included?
All Breakfast at the Hotel and one lunch at the maid Café is included in the tour.

What Maid Cafe will we be attending?
Candy Fruit Strawberry  http://candyfruit-strawberry.com/
CANDY FRUIT STRAWBERRY is only 3 minutes walk from Akihabara [train] Station putting it right in the center of all the excitement and activities in one of Japan’s more popular entertainment and shopping areas. What makes CANDY FRUIT STRAWBERRY so different from other maid Cafés is that not only do the waitresses wear your everyday kawaii maid costumes; they wear other themed costumes as well and offer many customer interactive activities! Yunmao Ayakawa will take us on a wonderful tour of some of Japan’s hot spots to shop for costumes. Many that she frequents herself. Some costumes come packaged and sealed so It will be up to the stores policy if you are allowed to try on costumes.

Will there be any tips on makeup & how to apply & remove wigs, gloves, shoes/boots, cosplay tips?
On the tour Yunmao will give us hints and tips on what to buy and how to implement accessories into your costume.

What if a person does not have a cosplay costume to wear at the tour?
The tour is open to all, “costumed” or not. Even in Japan it is odd to see people wear costumes on the street. There will be particular events where costumes are appropriate but no one is required to wear costumes.
